ID1: Facepaint 101

Thought I'd post another link to another thing I did last sem. Pretty much a prototype tutorial program on how to face paint. The only bug here is that audio doesn't work... No idea why, even sound controller's not appearing (when I uploaded it to the internet), however on Flashplayer 10 on my mac, it works like a charm!

Anywhoo, going to bed now! Hope this makes up for my lack of posts! haha -.-

ID2: MAJOR

Video game for ID done! Has a shitload of bugs - audio related bugs. But I don't have time to literally research how the heck to fix those, so I'm just leaving it as it is... If audio annoys you, just mute it out hahaha.

Aside from that, haven't posted in a while because I've been sooo busy, it sucks. So, I hope this would break the ice - the I-Haven't-Posted-Crap-On-For-So-Long ice. Hehe!

Hello, long time no "life-story" blogpost.
Been getting swamped lately with work and other things. Kind of hard to balance all of them really, which is starting to stress me out. For the first time ever I managed to fall asleep in the afternoon for a good 3hrs - undisturbed. I haven't slept so deep in so long, considering how half the time I sleep at night, I find myself waking up every hour or so just freaking out about deadlines.

I decided to take the day off today from intern too so I could at least get half of this work done. I probably would be lucky, however, to even manage to get through 25% of it.

But anyway, here is what I have to get done:
- Lecture Summary (due tomorrow) completed
- 500 Word article with sketches (Monday) completed
- Design document (with visual research and screen designs -- video game no. 2) (MONDAY) COM-EFFING-PLETED BITCHEZZZZZZ
- Recoding assignment (Wednesday) FINITO!!!
- Briefs (end of week) - extended!!!!! :D

I have a feeling I'm forgetting something else too, I can't really seem to get my mind around it. But yes, it is that time of the sem again, where all my stuff just happens to be due at the same time. Sigh. I need a personal assistant, hopefully someone smart out there just manages to create some device that can place you in two places at one, that way I could party and study simultaneously and not just slump here in my chair.... in my office... trying to decipher this piece of crap reading in front of me.

Aghhhhh. Help.

ID 2: Skinning.

Haha, there's a few bugs in this game. For instance, I'm like stuck in that grey bit in my last screen and I can't get out hahaha... It made me laugh so bad. But anyway, I'm happy to see my stuff get together. I still have to animate an intro... which I will do tomorrow lol.

Long time no post!

I've been swamped with work and whatnot, so pretty much I have no new illustrations to "show off".

HOWEVER, I am pretty stoked haha, the photo I edited a few weeks ago is actually hung up! I didn't realise it until today. I know it sounds kinda stupid to be really proud about this, considering how I didn't take the photo (though it would be a +), but I edited the whole photograph and it's actually hanging up in Tuchuzy hehe!

Btw, I did it for intern. I just thought I'd show that off. I'm so happy hehe.

ALSO, the placement prints (for shirts) I created for intern has been printed out hehe. They're like, in boxes atm at intern and I am soo tempted to ask if I could take photos of what I've done, but I'm feeling overall shy about the idea! IF I manage to get photos, I will upload ASAP!!!

But yes my loves, I will upload drawings soon.... just not now because I'm up to my ass in assignments. *Shakes fist*

And yes, I drew elements from Rocco's caricature. Mainly because it encapsulates Bob Brown more better than any other artists, so I used him as the foundation for Gillard's reflection.

Hmm I guess comparing it to my original sketch it does look a lot more better, but I'm more disappointed with the fact that it doesn't really look like him. I guess caricature's not my cup of tea, but I tried and I'm proud about that. I just hope I can still keep up a good rep with this "drawing" lol.

Oh and if you haven't gotten it yet, it was supposed to be Tony Abbott hahaha.

Progress. Still needs to be fixed up though. I'm pretty disappointed that it doesn't really look like him though. I feel like I've worked on it hard enough for it to fully form... but unfortunately, it's not there... just yet lol. Sigh I really want to finish this thing now but I gotta go to work now. I was literally bugged about this FOR A LONG TIME, and I'm going to rub it in their faces that I stayed up till 2am trying to think of an appropriate design. Well I have to admit, I did sidetrack... a lot... when it came to designing this. So 3 hours of designing, where I had 15mins break every 30mins haha.

SO FRKN THRILLLLLLLLED!

Okay so the first half of this weekend SUCKED because I had to call in sick for work - for ALL my shifts so practically I'll be working ZERO hours this week. I keep getting told that I am "over-working" myself. I know it's true, it just gets tiring to hear. Why? Because I feel that it is the opposite (at times). I do have times where I am at home, and I do have times when I have nothing to do. So how is that "over-working"? I guess I'm only thinking that way because I'm over-thinking it. But I guess if all my loved ones have said the same thing, they're probably right. I must be the biggest idiot to question the whole lot of them.

Anyway, I finished my screen designs - THANK GOD. So I guess my sick leave did eventually go somewhere, now all I gotta do now is finish off my written documentation and I'm good to go for Monday. I am so thrilled. I totally want to upload my screens right now, but I feel that it's the best if I leave that till later.

I am so tired right now, I think I deserve a good night's sleep. A great day's worth of hard work (despite how I'm vomiting up phlegm every 10 minutes) now meets a great day's worth of sleep. How lovely!

Video game skinning.

Hello there! Haven't blogged in a while, been busy and been feeling really sick (since last week pretty much, I had a bad cold). On Tuesday, I woke up and I completely lost my voice... well kinda, it just really hurt to talk and I was all raspy and what not. Wednesday was such a struggle because I had uni and all I could do was whisper. AND YESTERDAY, I kept getting coughing attacks which are still happening NOW! I honestly have no idea why my body is so prone to getting sick. I hardly ever get sick (aside from colds), most especially bedridden-SICK.

Anyway, here's a preview of the video game skinning I'm doing atm, I'll probably upload all my screens when I've finished.. PROBABLY. This assignment is due on Monday and I haven't even reached close to 50% yet, which is making me even more depressed because I'm sick and I'm worrying about this.

I totally feel that it's necessary to post such rubbish as this. But yes, the night time is for sleeping, yet I am awake and I totally just decided to clean my room (well probably 5% of it) and change my sheets.

Also, I placed the vaccuum cleaner in my room... still deciding whether I should turn it on or not.

I feel bad for my family, this whole time I'm sitting in the kitchen like a fat slob and blasting my vintage MJ out at full blast. I am so totally made for night time. I think I just work better at night.

The morning can go f itself.

Anyway, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEEE Virginia Alvarez! Spent the past few days checking her stuff out. Her drawings are AMMMAAAAZZZZZIIIINNNNGGGGG. I need her to be my mentor STAT! ...to bad she lives in Barcelona :(

I haven't done an actual (written) blogpost in a while so I guess I should aye :)
For starters, I feel so shitty today (pardon the language). Why? Coz I suddenly got this stupid as cold or whatever it is - my dad was freaking out because he thinks it's symptoms of the 'flu'. And seriously, I was so happy coz I haven't gotten the flu in years, I don't want that streak to be broken. It's like the same streak I have with vomitting... I haven't regurgitated in yonks, and the last time I did it was outta nowhere in the morning... much like morning sickness :O I kid. What a blogpost this is hehe!

Hope your stomachs are feeling good hehe, I is drawing another drawing. I probably won't finish till later this week but I wanted to show a small incomplete preview haha :)
