damn net pictures

I'm getting carried away with each tool I'm using. I think primarily because I'm scabbing pictures off the internet, quality's so crap so I unconsciously overdo my methods. I think the best thing for me to do is scab high res photos -- maybe closeup jpegs from intern? hmmm... BASTA I need to practice on proper photos haha! Stuff like these don't do me justice. I overdid this retouch BADLY. I made her look so plastic.

PLASTIC FANTASTIC BOOYAH!

Anyway, I really need advice on this ahha, I want to know whether if I'm getting there or not. Dammit, I need a mentor! Where's my mentor!!! I'll place an ad in the newspaper.

clean up retouching

After watching how many tutorials, I tried soaking in all those details. It took me an hour to do, probably because I kept distracting myself with youtube haha. BUT this is what I've achieved. I guess it looks less-fake than my other tries - THANKS TO PATCHING. But I really want to expand on this, I think I should set a goal for myself so I could pretty much aim to be some photoshop hero, responsible for low self esteems everywhere (kidding about that aspect, but defs psp hero).

Anyway, did my tute rego today for sem 2, got into pretty sweet classes, except for my 6hr break on Thursdays, total buzz kill. But seriously, bring on the work! I love being busy hehe :)

I TRIED, which matters. I suck at this hahaha. Sigh sigh sigh, my my my.

I'm calling it a nightzzzzz :)
My totally awesome sister said it looked fake and laughed. She was half asleep too, crazy bitch. I'll get there soon! (Hopefully)

2nd try

Okay, this is probably an even better one than my last post. Don't ask about the photo, I just scabbed whatever I saw on Google images that I could edit hahaha. I think I'm going to keep doing this until I can get it perfect and what not hehe :)

practising lol

I haven't retouched photos for a long time, hence why this was such a rough practice. The last time I've retouched photos (aside from the small jobs I've done at intern) was when I was in year 8, and I pretty much overdosed the photo with the blur and burn tool. I think I should start practising my photoshop skills more than illustrator, seeing as every single day I'm using photoshop (for intern) so why not get back into the habit of re-learning the entire thing hehe.

I HOPE it looks good to you because it sure as hell looks rough to me. More practising in the shed for Nina! :O
